About ACG Boston
Located at the hub of Boston's growth-oriented economy, ACG Boston is among the largest and most active of all Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) chapters, offering its members premier opportunities for networking, professional education, and business development.
Our Mission
The mission of ACG Boston is to enhance our members' effectiveness by providing educational events and access to information on dealflow and the capital markets. More than 950 members cite ACG Boston as an indispensable source of dealflow in New England, as well as a center for excellence in all the disciplines related to dealmaking.
We offer more than 40 programs, including major annual conferences and a series of smaller seminars, roundtables, and regularly scheduled monthly meetings. Held annually in Boston, our Growth Conference is one of the region's foremost gatherings of local and national dealmakers, providing insight into market trends, successful strategies, and emerging opportunities in growth company investment and management.
ACG Boston has been - and continues to be - an innovator within the international network of ACG chapters. Our survey, measuring market sentiment and dealflow, has become an important gauge of private equity and M&A activity in the Boston area, and has been replicated on a national level by the ACG organization.
We also were the first to offer ACG Capital Connection, a gathering where corporate executives and intermediaries interact with hundreds of private equity investors in a tradeshow-like setting. This groundbreaking idea has now been implemented in other cities, and has recently been extended to the buyout universe as well.
Our chapter draws together company owners, investment bankers, private equity investors, service providers, and others, representing a full spectrum of the dealmaking community. In addition to broadly based networking events for our entire membership community, we also offer narrowly targeted, peer-to-peer forums for buyout professionals, technology executives, businesswomen, and other groups. We provide these programs within a collegial environment, where members can forge relationships while enhancing the success of their businesses.
