ACG Cup Committee
The ACG Cup Boston Committee oversees and manages all aspects of this annual case study competition. From the coordination with business schools, managing the case study, determining school liaisons within the committee and selecting judges for both rounds of the competition – the ACG CUP Boston Committee handles all aspects of this event.
Planning for this event begins in early Fall as the committee determines which top business schools will be participating. The committee works with various professors from the MBA programs at each school to distribute the case study and provides guidance on what the judges will be looking for in the student's reports and presentations. Each committee members is assigned as a liaison to one of the schools where they are expected to coordinate the first round competition, which includes recruiting 4 to 5 industry experts as judges. After hearing the students presentations during round one, the judges determine one team from each school that will move forward into the final round. At the final round, a different and impartial group of judges is convened to determine the winner from each of the school finalist teams, which is announced at a networking reception attended by the finalists, judges and committee members immediately after the presentations. The ACG Cup Boston takes place in February of each year.
