A Networking Night in Providence w/ Chris Crosby, Managing Director, Nautic Partners

Christopher (“Chris”) Crosby is a Managing Director at Nautic Partners, a middle-market private equity investment firm located in Providence, Rhode Island.  Nautic currently manages over $4 billion of investment capital on behalf of its limited partners.  

Mr. Crosby joined Nautic Partners in 2001.  At Nautic, Mr. Crosby focuses on healthcare investments, where he leads the development of investment strategy, investment decisions and portfolio company management for its healthcare investments.  He serves on both the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee of Nautic.  

Mr. Crosby currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Genoa Healthcare, Community Medical Group and Family Physician Group.  He previously served on the Boards of Directors for Genova Diagnostics, Medegen Holdings, American Imaging Management, Gaymar Holding Company, AXIA Health Management, Superior Vision, Theorem Clinical Research and All Metro Healthcare, among others.  Mr. Crosby also serves on the Board of Directors of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, a not-for-profit health insurance organization.  

Prior to joining Nautic, Mr. Crosby was a Principal at McCown De Leeuw & Co., an Associate at Indosuez Capital and a Financial Analyst at Kidder Peabody & Co, where he served as a member of its healthcare investment banking team.  

Mr. Crosby received a B.S from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  He lives in Barrington, RI with his wife and three children.
