A breakfast combining networking and content, the C-Series brings together 75+ dealmakers in downtown Boston and allows them to connect on a regular basis in the same place, at the same time. Mr. Anderson is a member of Kohlberg’s Investment Committee and is responsible for leading the execution and monitoring of certain new and existing Kohlberg investments. Mr. Anderson joined Kohlberg in 1998 and was named a Partner in 2005. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Anderson was with Warburg Dillon Read L.L.C. He is a member of the board of directors for Aurora Products Group, LLC, Chronos Life Group, Katy Industries, Risk Strategies Company and Troon Golf, L.L.C. Mr. Anderson received a B.A. from Princeton University.

Michael W. Choe

Michael joined Harvard Private Capital Group, the predecessor to Charlesbank, in 1997 from McKinsey & Company, where he focused on corporate strategy work.

Michael lived in Seoul, Korea, before moving to Boston to attend university. He is fluent in Korean and Japanese. Michael lives with his wife and two children in Boston. He serves on the board of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay. Michael has a BA in biology from Harvard University.

Michael Ewald
Managing Director
Sankaty Advisors, LLC

Mr. Ewald joined Sankaty Advisors in 1998. He is a Managing Director, the head of the Middle Market Group and Portfolio Manager for Sankaty’s Middle Market Opportunities and Senior Direct Lending fund strategies. Previously, Mr. Ewald was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company for three years where he focused on strategy consulting to the Financial Services, Manufacturing and Consumer Products industries. Prior to that, he worked at Credit Suisse First Boston as an analyst in the Regulated Industries group. Mr. Ewald received an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a B.A. magna cum laude from Tufts University.
