Christopher J. O'Brien, Investcorp International

Christopher O'Brien joined Investcorp in 1993. As head of private equity and real estate investment, he oversees the firm's private equity, real estate and post acquisition activities in both London and New York. He is a member of both Investcorp's Investment Committee and its Commitment Committee. Before joining Investcorp, Christopher was a Managing Director of Mancuso & Company and a founding member of the Acquisition Finance Group of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. In that capacity, he negotiated and syndicated, as lead agent, transactions providing senior, subordinated and equity financing for leveraged acquisitions. In 1987, he established the Los Angeles office of the Acquisition Finance Group which financed middle-market LBOs. Before establishing this group in 1983, Christopher specialized in providing financing for Fortune 500 companies.

Holding a BSc in Business Administration from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Christopher is the past Chairman of the 1846 Associates of the Committee for Leadership in Annual Giving, and a past member of the Alumni board of directors of the University. He formerly served on the National Champions Leadership Council, as the Chairman of the Fairfield County Champions Committee for Save The Children, as well as being a former member of the Administrative Committee of Fleet Bank. Christopher is both the past Chairman of the Partnership for the Homeless Charity Gala and Co-Chair of the Global Leadership Awards Dinner for the School of International and Public affairs at Columbia University. He was also the 2006 recipient of the 'Dinner of Champions Leadership Award' by the New York chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Dan Primack, Thomson Financial
Dan Primack is Editor-At-Large with Thomson Financial, publisher of Buyouts Magazine, Private Equity Week and Venture Capital Journal.  He also is the creator and writer of PE Week Wire, a daily email publication read by over 41,000 subscribers.  Mr. Primack's daily column has become mandatory private market reading, and he has given keynote addresses at events hosted by organizations that include Merrill Lynch, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association.  He also appears regularly on CNBC, and has been quoted in such publications as BusinessWeek and TheStreet.com.

Prior to hitting the private equity beat in 2000, Mr. Primack covered private debt for Private Placement Letter and served as Editor and Cofounder of The 'Bury,' a Roxbury, Mass. - based newspaper catering to teenagers and young adults.

Mr. Primack is a graduate of Haverford College, with a degree in political science.
Brooke Ablon, Fidelity Equity Partners

Brooke Ablon, a founding partner at Fidelity Equity Partners, leads the firm’s North American operations. He was the first U.S. partner at FEP having been on board since it’s inception in 2007. Brooke is largely responsible for recruiting and driving the growth of the North American team. His investment focus is primarily on the financial and business services sectors and he currently serves on the Board of Production Control Services, a Colorado based provider of lift systems to the oil and gas industry. 

Brooke began his career in the asset recovery department at Bank of Boston. He left Bank of Boston to co-found ARI Group, an investment and consulting boutique. Prior to joining Fidelity Equity Partners, Brooke spent nine years as partner at The Riverside Company, a New York-based private equity fund focused on the middle market.

Charles Brizius, THL Partners
Charles A. Brizius is a Managing Director of THL Partners, L.P. joining the firm in 1993.  From 1991 through 1993, Mr. Brizius was with Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated where he was a financial analyst in the bank’s Financial Institutions Group, Investment Banking Division. Mr. Brizius serves or has served as a Director of numerous public and private companies in which the Lee Partners and its affiliates have invested including Eye Care Centers of America, Inc., Houghton Mifflin Company, TransWestern Publishing, L.P., United Industries Corporation and Warner Music Group.  In addition, Mr. Brizius is involved in a number of civic and charitable organizations including the Institute of Contemporary Art and Children’s Hospital of Boston.  Mr. Brizius received a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Geoffrey Rehnert, Audax Group
Geoffrey Rehnert is the Co-Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Audax Group, a leading middle market private equity firm.  Founded in 1999, Audax manages in excess of $4.3 billion in equity and debt capital.  Audax Private Equity owns more than 30 portfolio companies which have combined revenues in excess of $4.0 billion.  The Audax Portfolio of debt capital investments includes an additional 60 middle market companies.
 
Prior to founding Audax, Mr. Rehnert was a General Partner and Managing Director of Bain Capital, Inc. for 15 years, which he helped to start in 1984.  Mr. Rehnert also worked at Bain & Company and J. P. Morgan and Company, Inc.
 
Mr. Rehnert received his Juris Doctorate from the Stanford Law School, where he was a member of the Stanford Law Review and is a member of the State Bar of California.  He received an A.B. with Honors in Economics from Duke University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Steve Tadler, Advent International

Steve Tadler joined Advent's Boston office in 1985 becoming Managing Director of the North American buyouts group in 1994.  In 1997, he moved to Advent's London office to head Advent’s European Operations and returned to Boston in 2006.  He is a member of Advent's Executive Committee of which he has chaired since 2002.  He serves on each of Advent's Western Europe, Latin America, Central Europe and North America Investment Advisory Committees.  Prior to Advent, he was with Manufacturer’s Hanover Trust Co., where he provided financing for a number of leveraged buyouts, technology-oriented firms and special situations.

Steve has a BS, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

He served as a director of over 15 companies including Cade Industries Inc. and OK International.
